Kinman Jaguar pickup with it's one-piece special non-magnetic Claw which we make In-house.
At last, Zero-Hum pickups for the neglected Fender Jaguar*. Our Jaguar pickups are based on our Strat models, however since Jags have a shorter scale length the sound will be deeper, more throaty with more guts providing a 250k volume pot is used, rather than the 1 Meg original pot in Fender Jaguars which makes the sound brighter and therefore thinner.
Kinman pickups for Jaguar are now direct replacements and no modification to the guitar is required ... except for changing the lower volume pot to 250k so the pickups sound their best. However the upper volume pot is 1Meg and that causes the neck pickup to sound brighter and thinner when the upper slide switch is in the 'UP' position. Same if the lower Volume pot remains the original 1Meg.
COVERS news Dec-22: We now have our own Jaguar covers that don't require modifying the opening in the pickguard. Available in White, Aged White, Parchment, Gibson Cream and Black. We can now supply 52.5mm, 51mm and 49.5mm magnet spreads in any color to suit any type of bridge (wide vintage or modern narrow such as Mastery, Tune-O-Matic and so on)
Note the stand-offs designed to relieve mounting stress on the cover.
We include a special non-magnetic Claw attached to the pickup. The original Chromed steel Claw must not be fitted to the Kinman pickup. Also, we now include 2 of our special made improved replica mounting screws (3-Sep-2018).

Surf Jag think Dick Dale's Miserlou and you'll be close. Excellent and rapid attack, sweet but biting highs, low end snap and twang.
Punk Jag distorts easily thanks to our unique high output technology which does not compromise the transparency of the sound (no mud)
Mod Jag a slightly more powerful, amazing modern vintage sound with improved clarity. Full bottom end, excellent twang and outstanding highs.
Magnum Opus sets now available in the Mixed Sets order form. The Magnum Opus versions are especially valuable for Jaguars because the low string tension of Jags more easily cause Torn Cone Syndrome (TCS) and like our Magnums for Stratocaster, incorporate our TCS Inhibiting technology and have a bit extra oomph and presence. There is no doubt these are the finest Jaguar pickups available.
Some people will call these noiseless Jaguar pickups but Kinman prefers to describe them correctly as Zero-Hum Jaguar pickups. That's because there are 2 types of noise, Hum which is cancelled in the pickup and Electrical Buzz which can only be minimized by shielding the wiring cavities (refer to >Technical >Perfect Guitar >Shielding for newer guitars)
The premium Magnum Opus version of our fabulous Jaguar pickups.
